Kouri Richins, a woman from Utah, has been charged with murder for allegedly poisoning her husband with a fentanyl-laced cocktail. Newly filed court documents reveal that Kouri had taken out multiple life insurance policies worth nearly $2 million on her husband, Eric Richins. The documents also detail an earlier incident in which Richins broke out in hives after consuming a sandwich his wife had prepared. The couple reportedly argued frequently about financial issues, and Richins created a living trust that excluded Kouri from any control over his estate. Kouri is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
