Supernatural's prequel, The Winchesters, takes a jab at the Twilight franchise in its fifth episode. In the episode, Mary Campbell hunts and slays a werewolf named Jacob, a clear reference to Jacob Black from Twilight. This isn't the first time Supernatural has mocked Twilight - in season 6, Dean expresses his disdain for the franchise and its vampire characters. The Winchesters' jab is clever and fitting, given the beef between the two franchises with similar subject matter.
