A woman named Janice David was found dead in a car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She had been tied up and repeatedly stabbed during an attack that was livestreamed on social media. Earl Lee Johnson Jr., her alleged attacker, was arrested for first-degree murder. The police said he and David had been on a drug binge before the attack. Johnson had been arrested earlier that day for stealing a car and fleeing officers. Facebook alerted the authorities about the video, leading to Johnson's questioning and eventual arrest. Court records show Johnson has a history of armed robbery and was released from prison in January. He remains jailed without bond.
