Fans of The Winchesters, the prequel series to Supernatural, have launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #RenewTheWinchesters in hopes of securing a second season. Despite mixed reviews from critics, both the cast and crew have expressed their desire for The CW to renew the show, although the network has yet to confirm whether it will be renewed amid cutbacks to original programming. With only two more spaces left for renewals on the network, competing shows like Walker, Superman & Lois, and Gotham Knights could make it difficult for The Winchesters to secure a slot.
