Former Supernatural star Jensen Ackles is campaigning to save The CW shows made by himself and his former co-stars. Ackles produced two prequels, The Winchesters and Walker: Independence, which were recently cancelled, while Misha Collins stars in Gotham Knights, which has yet to be renewed for a second season. The CW's new parent company Nexstar is looking to cut costs, with only two shows, Walker and All American, currently renewed. Fan campaigns led by the stars are attempting to convince the network to renew their shows, but it remains to be seen if they will succeed in changing Nexstar's policies.
