Supernatural's iconic Impala, known as Baby, underwent a small change in season 2 that had a deeper meaning. The Kansas license plate "KAZ2Y5" was replaced with an Ohio plate "CNK80Q3", possibly as a nod to the show's creator Eric Kripke, who is from Ohio. The change was also due to an FBI agent tracking the Winchesters through their car's license plate, adding to the complicated lore and story of the series. As an integral part of the plot, Baby has become just as significant as the series' main characters, Sam and Dean Winchester.
