Richard Speight Jr. will reprise his role as the trickster god, Loki, in The Winchesters, a prequel series to Supernatural, in which he previously appeared. Showrunner Robbie Thompson said that he was always planning to incorporate Speight into the series and suggested that Loki's return will be surprising for the characters.
