Mayim Bialik, who played Amy on The Big Bang Theory, initially worried about her portrayal of the character and not trying to imitate Jim Parsons' Sheldon. Despite feeling inadequate due to her lack of experience, she was able to evolve her character and develop great chemistry alongside Parsons. Bialik believed that their success together was due to both of them not being overly-sentimental humans.
However, filming the final scenes was an emotional task for the two of them and the entire cast behind the scenes. Ultimately, Bialik enjoyed her fine run on the show and developed a strong relationship with the cast, particularly with Kunal Nayyar.
