Julia Louis-Dreyfus, star of the iconic sitcom Seinfeld, revealed in her podcast that she suffered a devastating miscarriage around the time the show debuted in 1989. The actress, who was about 28 years old at the time, also developed an infection that kept her in the hospital for several weeks.
Despite this tragedy, Louis-Dreyfus went on to have two successful pregnancies and became one of the most celebrated actors in television history, winning 11 Emmy Awards for her roles in Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and Veep. Recently, she has also joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
