The Winchesters is a prequel to Supernatural that will focus on the young lives of Mary and John Winchester in the 1970s. The show will follow them as they search for Mary's missing father, revealing secrets about the Winchester family along the way. Jensen Ackles, who played Dean Winchester in Supernatural, will produce and narrate the show, while Drake Rodger and Meg Donnelly have been cast as John and Mary. The show will premiere on October 11th and air on the CW. Fans are excited but disappointed that Jared Padalecki's character Sam Winchester will not be involved.
