Mark A. Sheppard, who played Crowley in the TV series Supernatural, was disappointed with his character's ending. Crowley sacrificed himself to help Sam and Dean Winchester seal the gates of Hell, but Sheppard felt that the show's writers had been moving away from his character for two years and that they didn't have any more ideas for him.
