Supernatural may have a future beyond its controversial conclusion with the potential for more stories down the road, according to showrunner Robbie Thompson. Despite the ending of the original series leaving little room for future exploration, death has never truly meant anything in the Supernatural universe. Sam and Dean can easily come back to life and continue on hunting, taking down monsters, demons, and angels. With their popularity and a multiverse to explore, the revival of Supernatural is always a possibility, and Sam and Dean's stories will never truly end.
