Melissa Rauch, known for her role as Bernadette in The Big Bang Theory, has landed the lead role on NBC's Night Court reboot. Initially hesitant to take on the role of Judge Abby Stone, Rauch eventually fell in love with the project after reading different iterations of the script.
During filming of the pilot episode, she was surprised by executive producers from TBBT, Steve Molaro and Steve Holland, who came to support her. Overwhelmed with emotion, Rauch expressed her gratitude towards her former colleagues, saying "I love those guys and my Big Bang family forever."
